October 2019 Meeting

Jon,

Fantastic presentation last week. I enjoyed my visit to the MUG and will return!

After doing some thinking, and learning, it seems that a Raid 5 is not a backup solution. I'm wondering if a Raid 1 with say 8 drives (4 net) would be a better solution for a home media server... say like Plex.

Thoughts?

Ron

Next meeting: Tuesday, 8 October, 2019

First Half Hour at 6 PM
Main Presentation at 6:30 PM

Topic: iOS 13.1 and iPadOS 13 by Mark Stevenson

Apple has release iOS 13.1 for the iPhone and iPod, as well as iPadOS 13. There are tons of new features, including those that help with your privacy and security. This is a very worthy upgrade, and you will want to learn about the new features.

So, Mark Stevenson is going to give you the lowdown and these new systems. He will talk about the differences between iOS and iPadOS, and those features just for the iPad that make it more productive than ever.

Come and learn!

The meeting is at the Metrum Credit Union, 1/3 of a mile south of Arapahoe on the east side of Holly in Centennial. The doors will open at 6 PM, and the visit time will be from 6 PM to 6:30 PM. A good time to ask questions and get advice from fellow members!

As always, we will meet about 5 PM at the Panera Bread on the SE corner of Holly and Orchard for a little supper.
