February 2020 Meeting

Jon,

Fantastic presentation last week. I enjoyed my visit to the MUG and will return!

After doing some thinking, and learning, it seems that a Raid 5 is not a backup solution. I'm wondering if a Raid 1 with say 8 drives (4 net) would be a better solution for a home media server... say like Plex.

Thoughts?

Ron

Next meeting: Tuesday, 11 February 2020

First Half Hour at 6 PM
Main Presentation at 6:30 PM

Topic: Brian Murphy from the MacOutlet

For over 15 years, the Denver area has been served by MacOutlet, which has 3 stores in the Denver area. MacOutlet specializes in selling preowned Apple devices and repairing old & new Macintoshes and iDevices.

Brian Murphy from the Englewood store will be our guest this month and will tell us about MacOutlet & also talk about taking care of your Apple equipment, to keep it running smoothly.

The meeting is at the Metrum Credit Union, 1/3 of a mile south of Arapahoe on the east side of Holly in Centennial. The doors will open at 6 PM, and the visit time will be from 6 PM to 6:30 PM. A good time to ask questions and get advice from fellow members!

As always, we will meet about 5 PM at the Panera Bread on the SE corner of Holly and Orchard for a little supper.
