March 2019 Meeting

Jon,

Fantastic presentation last week. I enjoyed my visit to the MUG and will return!

After doing some thinking, and learning, it seems that a Raid 5 is not a backup solution. I'm wondering if a Raid 1 with say 8 drives (4 net) would be a better solution for a home media server... say like Plex.

Thoughts?

Ron

Next meeting: Tuesday, 12 March, 2019

First Half Hour at 6 PM
Main Presentation at 6:30 PM

Topic: PDFPen with Angel Vu

Join Angel Vu of Smile Software, Jeff Gamet's colleague for an exploration of PDFpen, your PDF editor for Mac. Helpful for new and veteran users alike, she will show you how to sign and highlight PDFs, proofread and comment, OCR a document, and full on editing. If you use PDFs, join her to see how you can slice and dice these documents to suit your needs.

The meeting is at the Metrum Credit Union, 1/3 of a mile south of Arapahoe on the east side of Holly in Centennial. The doors will open at 6 PM, and the visit time will be from 6 PM to 6:30 PM. A good time to ask questions and get advice from fellow members!

As always, we will meet about 5 PM at the Panera Bread on the SE corner of Holly and Orchard for a little supper.
