September 2019 Meeting

Fantastic presentation last week. I enjoyed my visit to the MUG and will return!

After doing some thinking, and learning, it seems that a Raid 5 is not a backup solution. I'm wondering if a Raid 1 with say 8 drives (4 net) would be a better solution for a home media server... say like Plex.

Next meeting: Tuesday, 10 September, 2019

First Half Hour at 6 PM
Main Presentation at 6:30 PM

Topic: iCloud with Gary Rosenzweig

A busy evening; earlier in the day, Apple will announce the new iPhones, and other iOS products. We will go over the announcements, and help you sort through the flack.

Then, Gary Rosenzweig from MacMost, will be helping us learn how to get the most out of iCloud. Learn how it works to sync your files and save you space. Lots if useful tips. Come and learn about a bunch of little-known features.

The meeting is at the Metrum Credit Union, 1/3 of a mile south of Arapahoe on the east side of Holly in Centennial. The doors will open at 6 PM, and the visit time will be from 6 PM to 6:30 PM. A good time to ask questions and get advice from fellow members!

As always, we will meet about 5 PM at the Panera Bread on the SE corner of Holly and Orchard for a little supper.
